Quick Bread

The easiest bread ever. Our version is vegan, gluten free, keto and paleo friendly but it can be made with ordinary wheat flour, or anything else you have to hand. We used Buckwheat flour because we like the slightly sourish flavour it adds. 

  • Mix 1 cup flour and half a cup of yogurt and a pinch of salt until you get a smooth dough. Finetune it with a drop of water or a sprinkle more flour to get a dough which is not too sticky.
  • Divide into  4 portions and roll each into a flat roundish shape
  • Cook in a dry frying an over a medium heat until slightly blistered and piping hot
  • EAT with curry,  use as a speedy pizza base, wrap around something delicious, dunk in soup .... it's the bread that can do everything 

 

Make it your own with your favourite herbs or spices ; chilli flakes or cracked pepper for heat,  cumin and fennel for an Indian twist.

Omit the salt to make it even healthier.
